“One of the most rewarding parts of building this business has been the chance to give back”, says Alan Gow, Managing Director.
We are proud to support career development through our apprenticeship programmes. From the office to the field, our apprentices gain valuable skills while building their careers and we are committed to guiding them every step of the way.
We are delighted to share the journeys of some of our talented apprentices, including those who have successfully completed their programmes, those who are close to achieving their goals, and those who are just beginning their careers.
Skye and Abigail joined Gow as Apprentice Business Administrators. We are thrilled to share that they have successfully completed their apprenticeships and have now taken the next step in their careers by beginning their HNC in Business at UHI.
Skye says: “My Business Administration Apprenticeship has allowed me to earn while I learned, giving me the opportunity to gain real experience, valuable skills, and a strong foundation for my career in a supportive and friendly environment”.
Morgan joined us in 2024 as an Apprentice Business Administrator and is now nearing the completion of her programme. We’re currently discussing next steps and how we can continue to support her development.
In the field, we have Luke and Alan, who are Apprentice Plant operators. Luke is currently on his first block of college in England, while Alan will begin his college training in January.

Every success story begins with the first step. Our apprentices are proof that with the right support, hard work and determination, those first steps can lead to success. If you’re ready to learn, grow and make your mark, our apprenticeship programmes could be the start of your journey. Keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities.
We’re also excited to share that we have a new apprentice joining us in September. We are looking forward to introducing them soon.
